Martin Bak (born January 11, 1986), is a Canadian record producer, songwriter, engineer and mixer who owns and operates SLR-Studios in Windsor, Ontario where he currently resides. He began honing his skills as a musician at the age of 10 by learning numerous instruments and playing in bands, but soon realized that his true passion was to be a producer rather than a performer. Recording local hip-hop artists in his early years gained Marty much recognition as a producer and engineer which attracted clients of all genres to his studio from far and wide, several of whom have since received regular-rotation radio play and recording contracts from major record labels.

Marty is a strong believer in staying current and contemporary which is why he always keeps his ears open for the latest trends in music to ensure that his clients have the cutting edge production necessary to compete in today’s ever-evolving industry.

“There is no greater feeling than the one I get when I produce or mix a song for an artist,  and soon receive the phone, text message, or email  telling me how much they absolutely love the way it turned out. That only gives me more drive to step my game up and make the next one even better. It’s always my goal to surpass my clients’ expectations and push the limits of an ordinary production.”
